Tony Medrano

Tony is President of SEED Enterprise LLC where he works as an interim executive focusing on high growth, turnaround and buyout/spinout opportunities with technology services companies such as SAIC and 3E Company. At 3E he developed the company’s growth strategy which led to a $25M MBO in 2002 and led the implementation of rapid revenue growth with a large national sales team, and at SAIC he led the strategic efforts surrounding a hardware spinout.

Tony also served as Vice President of Sales and Field Operations for a 100 person vehicle safety video monitoring company funded by NEA and Oak Partners where he managed the entire sales and field operations teams. He rapidly built and trained field sales team to achieve 125% of 2007 quota. Tony was promoted twice, given responsibility and additional account management and customer support departments to maintain remote video monitoring solution. He re-structured, hired and trained most of 40 person sales, marketing, support and systems engineering teams to address company growth, the needs of new customers, and the changing market.

Tony also helped build a live video social network and interactive online magazine from brand inception to profitable operations solely from its own cash flow in one year. He developed website traffic through partnerships with established web properties that provide 95+% of traffic for free via permanent deep links.

Tony Medrano joined Inflow, a $50M application hosting and business continuance and IT services company, as its General Manager in 2003. He managed Inflow’s San Diego Data Center and its Sales and Operations teams which serve clients throughout California like Kintera, Profitline and AMN Healthcare.

Previously, Tony co-founded and served as President of DoDots, Inc., a business-to-business software infrastructure company in Silicon Valley. Tony grew the company to over 120 employees and 50 paying customers. Tony also initiated, negotiated and closed numerous public company customers to revenue generating licensing contracts, even before product release. He personally raised over $25M in venture capital and managed all company efforts on all day-to-day operational and strategic sales & alliances matters.

Tony is a Southern California native and has a BA from Harvard, an MA from Columbia, and an MBA and JD from Stanford. Tony also served as a line Officer in the US Navy, where he led 100 person engineering & operations departments aboard a technologically advanced guided missile destroyer.

Dani Apgar

Dani has 10 years of experience as a marketing, sales and affiliate manager in growing Internet, Digital Media, Entertainment and Social Media companies in Southern California and in Silicon Valley. Dani is an experienced sales and marketing manager who is excellent at finding, closing and managing key accounts to generate revenue and traffic. She is superb at providing customer-centric solutions and building relationships with key accounts.

Dani has direct, consultative sales experience and was one the leading sales people for Insperity in Southern California. She also has a background as a human resources and office manager which enables her to wear a variety of hats for her start-up clients. Dani has attended the University of California, San Diego where she had a 3.0 GPA. Dani is also HR certified.

Lina Ramos-Holm

Lina Ramos-Holm, President, Emerging Growth Enterprise LLC. Lina posses over 12 years planning, financing & operating private ventures, start-up divisions and multiple product lines and services. She currently leads EMERGING GROWTH Enterprise’s growth-stage practice, working with the Sr. Management and Founding Teams to turn, proven products & services into profitable, high-growth businesses positioned for market leadership.

With regards to Homeland Security, Crisis and Consequence Management and Government sector activity, Ms. Ramos-Holm has been a key lead in building our portfolio companies through SBIR I, SBIR II and Center for Commercialization of Advanced Technologies Grant Funding. In addition, Ms. Ramos-Holm has been an active team member in identifying relevant government agencies (including the Department of Transportation, Boarder Patrol and the Department of Public Safety) for potential collaboration and sales. For several years, Ms. Ramos-Holm, Principal, EMERGING GROWTH Enterprise, has been on the mentoring board for a San Diego-based organization funded by the government and founded by SPAWAR, UCSD, SDSU, Jacobs School of Engineering and Orincon. The mission of this organization, the Center for Commercialization of Advanced technologies is to cross-pollinate commercial technologies for enhancing homeland security and crisis and consequence management.

Client companies include: SAIC Technology Spin-out, Applied Gene Technologies Growth Strategy/Government Alliances for Homeland Security, Parity Computing, ID Analytics Government Market Development, and 3E Company which recently closed on $25Mil in financing.

Prior to working in San Diego, Lina held P&L responsibility for division, category, and products & services at Fortune 500′s including Booz Allen, Procter & Gamble, and, most recently, Monsanto where she reported directly to the CEO on growth initiatives. Her demonstrated results in operations, enterprise growth, marketing /sales strategy, strategic alliances/acquisitions include a $185MM acquisition approval and 28% division sales turn-around establishing market leadership for a 105 person division which she ran; $10MM+ national launch for franchise expansion; and $20MM free media PR campaign for a software technology (www.rice-research.org). Lina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
