Tony Medrano is Vice President of Sales and Marketing SEED Enterprise LLC where he has worked with some of the nation’s leading technology companies for over 10 years in leadership roles in sales, marketing and operations. His focus has been on helping clients drive revenue through new customer acquisition.
Tony also served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Field Operations for SmartDrive Systems, a 300 person Software-as-a-Service company that provided a risk analysis and business intelligence platform. Tony was a member of the executive team that raised $60M in Venture funding from NEA and Oak Partners where he managed the entire sales and field operations teams during a period of rapid growth.
Tony also helped numerous Internet and digital media start-ups via rapid and cost effective development of organic Internet traffic and lead generation. He is an expert at building channel partnerships with established Internet companies that deliver page rank, SERP results and highly targeted organic traffic.
Tony Medrano also has experience in Cloud and IT services. He served as General Manager and Sales Director of Inflow, where he quickly drove large account SaaS and Cloud sales to achieve 150% revenue growth (as compared to the company’s 29% growth). Tony’s turnaround of his division at Inflow led directly to Inflow’s acquisition by SunGard for over $100M.
Tony Medrano is a Southern California native and has a BA from Harvard and an MBA and JD from Stanford. Tony also served as a line Officer in the US Navy, where he led 100 person firefightling, engineering & operations departments aboard a guided missile destroyer and a high school teacher of inner-city students in New York City Public Schools.
Tony currently serves on the advisory board of SEED.
